Halle Berry In Fight With Ex Gabriel Aubry Over Race Of Daughter Nahla!
Halle Berry has said that she considers her 2-year-old daughter Nahla to be black.
In an interview with Ebony magazine, the actress responded to recent claims that her ex-partner and Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry is ‘borderline racist’ and refuses to acknowledge the child’s black heritage.
“I feel she’s black,” she told the publication. “I’m black and I’m her mother, and I believe in the one-drop theory.”
The one-drop theory was used to describe anyone who was not 100% white while segregation was still legal in America.
It was previously reported that Aubry used racial slurs against Berry throughout their relationship.
